I've always loved radio - probably because my Dad was in radio many years ago. He was one of those people who did everything - ranging from hosting a show - to reading the news - to doing reports from the station's traffic helicopter.
Maybe that's why, when I was younger, I annoyed my entire family by putting a speaker at the top of the stairs and broadcasting to them from my room. Yes, I wanted to be in radio too. I played music using two very cheap plastic turntables, talked about the weather, and just talked about the world...
I wasn't very good. But wow, it was so much fun.... and it's never stopped being fun.
My radio career has had me stop in several spots - Oshawa, Toronto, Barrie... and now here in Collingwood.
I'm loving afternoons here at the Beach - don't have to get up too early, don't get finished too late - so I get to enjoy Wasaga Beach, Collingwood and the surrounding areas before AND after my show!
