Suspected Church Arsonist Arrested in Huntsville
The 43-year-old is accused of setting a Toronto church on fire Easter Sunday.
Huntsville OPP have arrested a man believed to be responsible for setting a Roman Catholic Church in Toronto on fire.
43-year-old Marc Porlier is a suspect in the firebombing of the church in the west end of the city on Easter Sunday.
He is being charged with arson and mischief over $5,000.
Toronto police released a surveillance video that showed a man placing a device next to the church and igniting it.
Damage is believed to be in the $50,000 to $100,000 range.
There were no injuries.
The church is closed. but a spokesman says it is expected to reopen for mass next weekend.
