Clearview Budget FinishedClearview | by Mariane McLeod3.91 per cent tax hike Six months of crunching the numbers in Clearview township, and the councillors there have finally passed this year's budget. The 2012 budget passed with a 3.91 per cent tax increase for property owners. Spending in Clearview will go up 5.66 per cent this year. Other municipalities in our area completed their budgets earlier this year. Wasaga Beach had a tax increase of just under one per cent, Collingwood had a 1.44 per cent decrease, Blue Mountains taxes go up 3.3 per cent and Springwater taxes are up two per cent.
