Consulting Public On Foam PadsMidhurst | by Catherine ThompsonSchool board wants feedback about using foam pads with special needs students. The Simcoe County public school board wants to hear from the public on the issue of using foam pads with special needs students. The foam blockers are considered protective equipment for educational assistants who may be bit or punched by special needs students. But some say it's not humane. The Simcoe County District School Board is hosting a public consultation session on Thursday, May 10th at 6:30 PM at the education centre on Highway 26 in Midhurst. Comments at this meeting will be used to help prepare a school board report.
