House Fire in Wasaga

Wasaga Beach | by Catherine Thompson
No one was hurt in a house fire in Wasaga Beach.

No one was hurt in a house fire in Wasaga Beach.

Firefighters were called to a house on St. James Place in the area of Golf Course Road and Klondike Park Road just before 1 AM on Thursday.

When fire crews arrived, the occupants of the single storey home were safely out of the burning building.

Flames were visible through the roof at the back of the home.

No one was hurt.

The cause is still under investigation, but it's not considered suspicious.

And there's no damage estimate yet.
