Muskoka Power OutagesRegional | by Mariane McLeod
Muskoka hardest hit after weekend windstorm, still people without power Monday
More than a thousand homes and cottages in Muskoka and Parry Sound are without power again today, after Saturday night's windstorm.
There were also outages reported Saturday in Wasaga Beach and areas up to Penetanguishene.
In many cases, the power has been knocked out by trees falling onto hydro lines.
Hydro One says it hopes to have the lights back on for everyone by 6 PM.
Wind: NNW 6 km/h
Date: 3:00 AM EDT Thursday 23 May 2013
Fog patches, and some sunny periods this morning, then cloudy with scattered showers and a chance of thunderstorms -- watches and warnings likely again this afternoon.
