Voting Day TodayRegional | by Phil BirchardPeople head to the polls today for Canada's 41st General Election. People all across Canada are heading to the polls today to vote in the federal election. Polls are open 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM at various locations. Your voters card will have the location of your polling station. Bayshore Broadcasting News will be following three main ridings in the region. In Simcoe Grey -- some polls put Conservative Candidate Kellie Leitch in a firm lead in the riding, while some people suggest it's a tight three way race between Leitch, incumbent Helena Guergis and Liberal candidate, Alex Smardenka. In Bruce Grey Owen Sound -- Conservative MP Larry Miller is running against Liberal Kimberley Love, Emma Hogbin of the Green Party and NDP candidate Karen Gventer. The race appears to be much tighter in the riding of Huron Bruce -- where Conservative MP Ben Lobb is running against Liberal Charlie Bagnato, Grant Robertson of the NDP, Green candidate Eric Shelley and independent Dennis Valenta. Our election coverage tonight will begin at 9:30 PM.
