Quite a scare for a Barrie dad.

He woke up Saturday morning to find a note from his 9 and 11 year old kids that they were going to take a trip on a Go train.

Police were called and immediately started a search.

The kids were found walking along the lakeshore.

The children were happy to be returned to their father after realizing their adventure hadn't been worth it.
