Barrie Man Arrested In Fatal Hit and Run

A 37-year-old Barrie man has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing death.

Barrie police have arrested the suspected driver of a vehicle allegedly involved in a fatal hit and run.

Luke Crocker, 33, was walking home last Friday morning in downtown Barrie, when the father of three was hit by a vehicle and left to die on the road.

Earlier this week, police released surveillance photos of a dark blue pickup truck wanted in connection with the crime.

A GoFundMe campaign for Crocker's children has been launched by his friends and family members.
