Canadian Coast to Coast Calorie Counters is growing. We are looking for interested persons to join our branch of Canadian Coast to Coast Calorie Counters in Wasaga Beach. Feast of 1812
It's a feast fit for an Admiral! The Friends of Nancy Island invite you to the Feast of 1812, Friday September 10th at 6pm at the Prime Time Club. Don't miss this evening of great food, great company and lively entertainment! Tickets are just $50 with a $25 tax receipt. You'll be helping to re-develop the Nancy Island Historical Site, and make it a showcase for Wasaga Beach and all of Canada. Get tickets at the Provincial Park Office on 22nd Street, or at Nancy Island. That's Friday September 10th at the Prime Time Club, next to the RecPlex.

Wanted Senior Bowlers
Bowlers 50 years and older are wanted for the Senior Bowling League. They bowl Mondays between 12:30 - 4pm at the Georgian Bowl in Collingwood. It's a mixed league for seniors in the area. It starts September 13th. For more details call Judy at 422-1870 or Bob at 429-8853

Annual Wasaga Artists' Studio Tour
Saturday and Sunday September 18 & 19 is the Wasaga Artists' Annual Studio Tour. It's from 10am-4pm throughout the Town of Wasaga Beach.
Enjoy viewing the work of 26 artists in 17 home studios not usually open to the public. There is no admission charge - really free entertainment. Artists enjoy answering questions about art and interacting with the public. It is an unusual opportunity to see where they create, their tools and their works. The variety and quantity of work is enormous including watercolour, oils, acrylics, woodcarving, jewelry and more. Find the special art piece to enhance your home. The Retired Women Teachers of Ontario (Blue Mountain Branch) welcomes newly retired or previously retired women teachers to share the fellowship offered by our organization. Marketing Resource Expo

The Prince of Peace church in Wasaga Beach is having Christmas in September. It's from 11am-3pm and costs $5 for lunch. It includes a bake sale and Christmas crafts. Proceeds go to their accessibility fund.

6th Annual Village at Blue Mountain Foundation's Charity Golf Tournament
2010 marks the 6th Annual Village at Blue Mountain Foundation's Charity Golf Tournament. Once again we invite guests to challenge themselves to a round of golf at one of Ontario's most popular resort courses - Monterra Golf. The format will be an 18-hole scramble. It includes amazing prizes, on-course activities and culinary delights, followed by dinner, silent auction and entertainment. This year funds raised will be donated to The Public Library's Homework Club, the YMCA's Youth Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle and the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
